- The Demo of Lessons (12.5 minutes) highlights the flow and the key learning features that students experience while answering baseline questions, watching video lessons while taking notes in the lesson worksheets, practicing multiple-choice questions, accessing step-by-step TEACH ME explanations for every practice question, writing problem-solving hints for missed questions, viewing conversions from their lesson accuracy to ACT/SAT scores, reviewing mistakes in the Mistake Bank, generating custom study guides organized by lesson and topic, and accessing more “at-bats” with Stay Sharp multiple choice questions in specific topics.
- The Demo of Practice Tests (5 minutes) shows students how to self-proctor pencil-and-paper exams while timing themselves and bubbling their scantrons in each section. Then they’re shown how to enter their answers in their Winward Academy accounts to view which questions are correct and incorrect, understand their scores, access an analysis that breaks down their strengths and weaknesses, review step-by-step explanations for each question from the real exams, and prioritize lessons based on accuracy. Students also see examples of the three steps they should always take while doing test corrections.
