After student accounts are active (once they verify their emails), students’ emails can be connected to teachers’ emails, so that teachers can access student data in their lesson and practice test reports. 

 

To create a connection between a student and a teacher, provide an Excel file with 3 columns:

 

  • Teacher email used for Winward Academy account
  • Student email used for Winward Academy account
  • Period (this field can be left blank if N/A)

 

Schools have chosen to connect teachers to students in various ways. Some schools want teachers connected to all students, and other schools prefer teachers only review data for their students. The Winward Academy tech team works with each school’s data coordinator to ensure the teacher-student mapping is done per each school’s specific requests. Note that until a teacher’s account is linked to students, any lesson or practice test reports will be blank.
